Home / About Us Supporting the work of the Duke of EdinburghMany thousands of young people in the UK today are failing to achieve their potential, held back by lack of opportunity, disability, exclusion, low expectations or a lack of confidence. Youth charity The Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Award inspires over 275,000 young people per year to develop skills, fitness, compassion and initiative, and gives young people of every background the opportunity to succeed. It relies on donations and needs to raise over £100,000 per week to continue its vital work. 15 New Bridge Street is proud to be supporting the work of The DofE in assisting the rehabilitation of young offenders through its Aspire project, making the benefits of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award available to young people within the secure estate and upon release. For further details about the Aspire project, see the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Website: Cross Channel Swim Challenge to raise funds for Aspire Project! One of our clerks, Mike Cross will be taking on the gruelling challenge of swimming across the English Channel. The event will take place in July or August depending on conditions. The aim is to raise funds for the Duke of Edinburgh's Aspire Programme that will assist with the rehabilitation process of young offenders.
