Areas of Practice

James prosecutes and defends in all areas of criminal law. Recent work includes serious assaults, robbery, theft, burglary, drug offences, offensive weapons, public order matters, fraud and road traffic, including private client work.

James has particular specialisation in restraint and confiscation, having spent six months on secondment to the Asset Forfeiture Division of RCPO.

James also has experience representing nervous and young clients for a range of offences.

James regularly represents service personnel at Court Martial hearings in the UK and abroad for both civilian and service offences.
