15 New Bridge Street opens

The Barristers, Clerks & Support staff of Hardwicke Crime, the Criminal Group of Hardwicke Building, have moved from Hardwicke Building to form 15 New Bridge Street Chambers, to be led by Patrick Upward QC .

Located close to the Central Criminal Court, 15 New Bridge Street is a logical progression for the former Hardwicke Criminal Group and provides us with the freedom needed to develop and tailor our services to the very particular needs of Criminal Law.

15 New Bridge Street specialises in all aspects of Criminal Law and has noted expertise in complex Fraud and Money Laundering cases.

Although no longer a part of Hardwicke Building, 15 New Bridge Street retains very close links with our former colleagues in addition to sharing pupillage and IT support. This relationship allows each set of Chambers to draw upon the skills of the other where warranted by particular cases.

Several of our barristers are presently working overseas for organisations including the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY).

The formal opening of 15 New Bridge Street Chambers by the The Right Honorable The Lord Woolf, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales will take place in November and shall be accompanied by our inaugural 15 New Bridge Street Lecture, given by Professor John Spencer.
