Kyri Argyropoulos secures early acquittal for defendant as 5 police officers are accused of fabrication and brutality

Kyri Argyropoulos defended CK who was accused of dangerous driving and was acquitted following a submission of no case to answer. His defence was that the 5 police officers who gave evidence against him of dangerous driving had made up the offence in order to excuse their sustained assault on him.

All 5 officers were accused of blatant lying and fabrication and subjected to lengthy and detailed cross-examination. Describing the case against CK as ridiculous the judge went on to say that it would be difficult for a jury to believe that the officers are telling the truth.
