Liam Walker represents driver spared custody after admitting killing father of four![]() Liam Walker recently concluded the sentence of R v K, who had pleaded guilty to causing the death of a father of four by careless driving. The judge had indicated that custody was "the only realistic option" for the level of seriousness of the offence. Following mitigation presented by Liam, the judge was convinced by the "narrowest of margins" that the sentence should be suspended saving the defendant being sent immediately to prison.
