Ian Boyes secures convictions on £115,000 Benefit Fraud![]() On 30th July 2010, after a five day trial, Ian Boyes successfully concluded the case against Mr and Mrs Sullivan who were indicted for systematically abusing the benefits system. Both defendants were found guilty of all counts on the indictment. Mrs Sullivan was claiming benefits as a 'lone parent' whilst unbeknownst to the DWP and London Borough of Havering, Mr Sullivan was living at the address and working as a Black Cab Driver. It is one of the largest frauds committed against the London Borough of Havering. The Defendants will be sentenced on 27th August after being told they would both be imprisoned. 3 August 2010 |
