Poetic Justice

Nichola Higgins represented Stephen Snell who pleaded guilty at Northampton Crown Court to aggravated vehicle taking, taking a vehicle without consent, making off without payment and various driving offences. Mr. Snell, who had 50 previous convictions, many for driving related offences, had written a poem about his time on remand.

On sentencing Mr. Snell, His Honour Judge Bray said : ‘Right now you feel down / You have got months to do / Despite what you have done / Let us hope the locked door / Will make you more sure not to come back for more.'
