Nichola Higgins is new Chairman of the Young Barristers' Committee

Nichola Higgins is the new Chairman of the Young Barristers' Committee of the Bar Council following her successful term as Vice-Chairman. Speaking about the year ahead, she said "2011 will pave the way for significant legal aid reform and the emergence of new business structures. However, we must ensure that a healthy and sustainable legal aid Bar continues to exist so that all members of the public have the same access to high quality legal representation regardless of their means.
