Two soldiers cleared of serious sex attack

Justin Hugheston-Roberts and Christopher Bertham secured the acquittal of two soldiers of the regular army who were accused of a serious sexual and psychical attack on a female in Hereford.

The two were said to have lured the woman and her female friend to the Travel Lodge in Hereford after meeting the two soldiers in a bar in the city and subjected the woman to a sustained attack.

After a six day trial the jury took less than 55minutes to unanimously find the two men not guilty of all charges.
