Bart Casella

1995

Bart is a specialist defence advocate with broad experience in a number of areas of criminal law. Bart's practice is predominantly in the fields of 'organised' crime, serious financial crime, homicide and the seizure, forfeiture and confiscation of assets. Bart's cases include large scale drugs conspiracies involving the Serious Organised crime Agency and substantial frauds prosecuted by specialist agencies such as the Serious Fraud Office or HMRC.

Coming from a background as a legal advisor in the City, Bart is one of Chambers' experts on the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. In that capacity he is instructed to advise and lecture solicitors and other professionals working in the financial sector.
