Dale Brook
2003
Dale is a criminal defence specialist who has developed a reputation for skilled advocacy and a talent for building a rapport with lay clients. He is instructed in cases involving serious offences such as conspiracy, armed robbery, grievous bodily harm, supply of controlled drugs and fraud. Dale has extensive experience of HM Revenue & Customs cases including condemnation, confiscation, cash forfeiture, MTIC and VAT & Duties Tribunal proceedings. He also has gained substantial experience of offences prosecuted by local authorities including fraud, health and safety, planning and regulatory offences. He has appeared in prison law and courts martial cases and advised in civil actions against the police. Recent Cases- R v A Conspiracy to rob. Cash in transit robbery involving considerable amounts of telephone and cell site evidence.
Kingston Crown Court, 2010 - R v M £150,000 fraud. Defendant was acquitted.
Snaresbrook Crown Court, 2010 - R v M Serious POCA offences - negotiated a very favourable basis of plea. Defendant had been facing a custodial sentence but in fact received a fine. As a result of the basis of plea the Judge refused application for confiscation.
