Fara practices across all areas of general criminal defence. She regularly receives instructions on cases involving serious offences of violence, (violent disorder, S.18), serious sexual offences, blackmail, child cruelty, kidnap, firearms, serious fraud, money laundering and confiscation proceedings.

Recent Cases

• R v C, at Grimsby Crown Court. Led in a multi-handed case involving the possession and supply of a substantial amount of Class B drugs.
• R v AK, at Leeds Crown Court. Led in a large-scale, multi handed credit card fraud case. Involving theft of details of over one hundred and fifty credit cards from both the Halifax and the Royal Bank of Scotland. The total loss amounted to over half a million pounds.
• R v DA and another. Complicated case of child abduction and theft. A multi-handed case involving both defendants attending Asian weddings, uninvited, and abducting young children away before removing their jewellery.
