Michael Edmonds

2000

Michael's practice centres around serious criminal work, including prosecution and defence. He has been instructed to prosecute (as a Junior alone) a wide span of cases, from theft to multi-handed armed robbery, to multimillion pound benefit-fraud, and multi-handed serious violence.

He is also an approved rape prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service (Thames Valley Area) and he has prosecuted several cases involving historic familial abuse.

His defence work ranges from being led in murder and serious armed robbery matters, to acting as sole Junior in a very wide range of criminal work, including serious violent and sexual offences, drug and robbery conspiracies, and fatal road traffic matters.

Furthermore, Michael also has ample experience of asset forfeiture proceedings, including POCA matters, cash detention and applications for restraint.
