Patrick Upward QC

Patrick is a specialist criminal practitioner with particular expertise in terrorist cases, white collar crime and serious criminal offences. Being a competent computer user he is regularly instructed to either prosecute or defend complicated white collar crime. He also prosecutes and defends cases involving drugs, murder and organised crime.

  • Mousa Brown acquitted of terrorism charges
    Mousa Brown, defended by 15NBS barristers, was one of the men accused of organising terrorist training camps and activities in the Lake District and elsewhere in England and has been acquitted of all the charges which he faced.

    Patrick Upward QC and Kyri Argyropoulos recently secured the acquittal of Martin Schofield on charges of conspiring to supply over 350kg of cocaine from Colombia via Spain Costa Rica, France and Jamaica.
